About the Project
Plus Power is developing a 250 MW / 1000 MWh state-of-the-art battery storage system that will provide fast-ramping, reliable capacity to TVA during peak demand when it comes online by the end of 2027. The facility’s position near high electricity demand, and flexibility to perform grid balancing services to help integrate advanced energy resources, makes the facility especially beneficial to TVA and Jefferson County. Construction of the Dumplin Valley facility is anticipated to start in 2026.
